MIDFIELDER Alex Halloran will focus on his career and family before deciding on his footballing future.
Halloran, 33, left Portland United in October under his own steam after 14 seasons with the Blues.
Halloran maintains his love for the game remains undiminished and believes he can still perform at a high standard.
“I haven’t made the decision yet,” he told Echosport.
“I still feel I can play at a good level and feel fit enough in myself. I still love playing.
“I’ve got a young family now, I’ve just started my own plastering business, so I’m just dealing with more important things at the minute.
“I’ve made the decision just to have a little break and hopefully I miss it and it gives me the bug to go back or play for someone else.”
Halloran revealed he had already turned down interest from other clubs.
“I’ve spoken to a few people,” he said. “I won’t say who, but it’s nice to hear that people still want me.”
