DORCHESTER Town will bid for a place in the FA Trophy second round when tackling Swindon Supermarine at the Webbswood Stadium tomorrow (3pm).
Former boss Steve Thompson guided the Magpies to the second round in 2019, where they gave National League side Barnet a fright before suffering a late 2-1 defeat.
Robbie Herrera will take charge of his first game as permanent Dorchester boss since previous manager Leigh Robinson stepped away from the role owing to work commitments. He will be joined in the dugout by assistant-boss and Plymouth Argyle legend Kevin Hodges.
However, in Swindon Supermarine the Magpies face a bogey side.
Since the Marine’s promotion to Step 3 for the 2018/19 campaign, Dorchester have scored just one goal in five matches against the Wiltshire team, failing to win.
Supermarine have taken four victories in that stretch, including a 2-0 victory in October.
Winners receive £3,000 compared to £775 for a defeat.
