FIVE young Redlands FC talents are mulling over interest from Sky Bet League Two side Exeter City.

Jakub Bielawski, eight, has been invited to join the Exeter City pre-academy.

Elsewhere, Redlands’ under-nine goalkeeper has been offered a full eight-week trial, while three other under-nine stars have the chance to attend the Grecians’ Performance Centre.

Redlands’ Tim Davis said: “It will now be up to the parents and children decide if they wish to take up the offers.

“Redlands FC are delighted that the club is again getting recognition for all the hard work discovering and developing these players who join a long list of talented kids who have played for the club and have gone on to Premier League and League clubs.”

Meanwhile, Redlands FC are running another of their popular soccer schools – the Christmas Kracker event for five to 14-year-old boys and girls of all ability levels between the 21st and 23rd of December.

The soccer schools will run from 9am-1pm daily at Top Club, Littlemoor. Parents can register their child on the day and happily go to work or do last minute Christmas shopping safe in the knowledge their child will be looked after and have fun for £5 per day.

Redlands are also looking to recruit girls aged under 12 and under 14 of all abilities to join their thriving squad of 60.

Redlands has also started new girls teams at under-eight and under-10 level for their FA Charter Standard club in Weymouth and are keen to give more children the opportunity to play.

Training sessions are being held weekly and both teams will be entering the Dorset Youth Football League.

All ability levels are welcome to come and join.
