JOHN Terry is the bookies' favourite to replace Jason Tindall as Bournemouth manager.
Emerging overnight as odds-on leader at the booths, Terry has been backed in from 10/1 to 1/2 with Championship sponsors Sky Bet.
Chelsea hero Terry is currently assistant-manager to Dean Smith at Aston Villa, who occupy ninth in the Premier League.
Cherries' first-team coach Jonathan Woodgate is caretaker boss and has drifted to 8/1 having been the early 6/4 favourite yesterday.
Frank Lampard, last week axed at Chelsea, is second favourite at 3/1.
Woodgate will oversee Bournemouth's home game with Birmingham City on Saturday (3pm).
The Cherries are hoping to "swiftly" make an appointment to replace ex-Weymouth player and manager Tindall, who was sacked following four successive losses.
