WEYMOUTH have extended the loan of striker Andy Dallas until the end of the season.

Dallas, 21, has scored eight goals in 17 games and registered five second assists since joining from League Two promotion-chasers Cambridge United in January.

Weymouth have renegotiated the deal for a player who is integral to their style of play, using his pace and movement.

Speaking to uptheterras.co.uk, Weymouth manager Brian Stock said: “We are delighted to extend Andy’s loan to the end of the season.

"We have seen on numerous occasions this year what he brings to this team.

“His goals have played a pivotal role in the upturn of our results and whether he scores or not I know he will be giving 110 per cent in every performance.”

Dallas could play in tomorrow's Vanarama National League clash with Maidenhead United.

However, the Scot is nursing an injury and is rated doubtful for the clash.
