WEYMOUTH will look to “showcase” their footballing ability against Notts County as the famed Meadow Lane hosts their penultimate National League game of the season tomorrow (3pm).

Terras’ manager Brian Stock is planning to illustrate Weymouth’s talent on the ball on what will be a slick surface, ideal for his side’s passing ethos.

Setting the backdrop to this fixture is Notts County’s charge for the play-offs, with the Magpies knowing a draw may be enough to cement their top-seven position.

Speaking to Echosport, Stock admitted he would like to spoil County’s party.

He said: “It’s one of those fixtures when they come out that you look forward to – we’ve had to wait all year for it.

“It’s a shame our fans can’t experience it but I’m sure going into next year they’ll experience some very nice stadiums.

“Notts County are a very big team and they’ll be trying to get back up into League Two, where they’ll probably think it’s the least they belong in.

“They’ve got a nice pitch and it’s an opportunity for us to showcase what we can do with the ball.

“It’s something we can take confidence from, having played some nice attractive football over the last few games.

“We go into the game with nothing to lose, we’re going up the night before and we’ll give the players the best opportunity to show what they can do.”

Sean Shields (ankle) is described as a “major doubt”, but Ben Morgan (hamstring) and Ben Thomson (groin) are out.

Josh McQuoid (fatigue) should be fit.
