WEYMOUTH have parted ways with Myles Anderson, Cody Cooke, Jack Dickson, Alefe Santos and Harry Burns.

The Terras' quintet all struggled for game time this season and their contracts have now expired.

In January, all five players were furloughed along with Jack Hoey and Ade Olumuyiwa.

"Thanks to each of them for their time at the club, we wish them well on and off the pitch for the future," a Weymouth statement read.

Commanding centre-back Anderson spent a successful period on loan with National League South side Hampton & Richmond last season, keeping five clean sheets.

However, he made just three appearances for Weymouth all season.

Midfielder Burns came up through the youth ranks at Weymouth and enjoyed a five-game loan spell at Dorchester, scoring in the 3-2 FA Trophy defeat to Swindon Supermarine in December.

Burns played for Weymouth in the 4-2 Dorset Senior Cup final win over the Magpies in March 2020.

Burns has been unused by boss Brian Stock this season and made four career appearances - all in the Dorset Senior Cup.

Former St Mirren and Truro striker Cooke played 21 times for the Terras, scoring three times and providing three assists.

Midfielder Dickson, having been recalled from furlough, has played seven games since his move from Poole.

Alefe Santos appeared eight times for Weymouth, creating one assist.
