STRIKER Tom Bath has signed for Plymouth Parkway following his exit from Dorchester Town.

Bath scored 21 goals in 47 games for the Magpies but decided to leave the Avenue Stadium due to travelling and offers from other clubs.

Bath has now penned a deal with his former team Parkway, who are closer to his Exeter base.

Bath scored a hat-trick in his only appearance for the Bolitho Park side.

Parkway were in May promoted to the Southern League, although Bath's switch represents a step down in standard of one division.

Speaking to Plymouth Parkway’s media team after signing, Bath said: “It feels good to get the deal done and I’m really looking forward to getting going.

“It’s been a long while waiting to play football again with the lockdown but I can’t wait to get going and meet the boys.

“I’m so excited. To get some fans back, that#s part of non-League and getting people through the door.

“Hopefully we can do the business on the pitch.”

Parkway manager Lee Hobbs added: “I’ve always been an admirer of Bathy, I’ve tried to sign him a couple of times.

“He fits the bill, he’s mobile, he scores goals, he’s aerially superb and he can run. With those four attributes hopefully he can become a fans’ favourite very quickly.”

The former Tiverton forward will link up with several ex-Tivvy men including defenders Ben Mammola, Harrison Davis and Jordan Bentley plus midfielder Mike Landricombe and ex-Weymouth man Jordan Copp.
