WEYMOUTH centre-back Jacob Mensah has departed the club.
Mensah, 20, came to the Terras in January and formed a rock-solid defensive partnership with Aston Villa loanee Dom Revan.
Ghanaian centre-half Mensah played 27 times for Weymouth, scoring one goal.
While Weymouth were keen to keep the former Crystal Palace man, Mensah decided against signing a new contract.
Manager Brian Stock told Echosport: "He came to the club wanting to play games.
"He's ticked that box. Him and his agent have decided not to sign a new contract, although we still stay in contact with him.
"He's, I assume, probably going to be trialling somewhere else.
"As far as we're concerned, Jacob won't be signing for us next year."
Weymouth's club statement added: "We would like to thank Jacob for his time with Weymouth and we wish him well on his journey in football."
