FORMER Dorchester Town favourite Tom Blair has joined Salisbury on loan from Eastleigh - and could face the Magpies in his first game.

Blair, 22, exited Dorchester last season for an undisclosed fee to realise his dream of becoming a professional player.

He scored 30 goals in 153 games for the Magpies and joins Salisbury until January 2022.

However, Steve Claridge has swooped for the talented winger, who leaves the Spitfires in search of more game time.

And he could feature for the Whites against his old teammates on Saturday when Salisbury visit the Avenue Stadium (3pm).

Eastleigh boss Ben Strevens told the club's website: "This is a good chance for Tom to get the regular game time he needs.

"We’ll be monitoring him closely to see how he gets on, with a view to him returning in January.”
