WEYMOUTH Cricket Club dished out their awards at a successful end-of-season presentation night.

Six trophies were handed out at the club's well-attended evening of celebration.

Teenage all-rounder Corey Baker and first-team all-rounder Neil Walton both scooped two trophies, with Lloyd Beals and Andy Jarvis also claiming silverware.

Baker claimed young player of the year and also took home the best bowling performance for his haul of 6-32 against Cattistock & Symene, bowling five of his victims.

Walton won best batting performance for 115 not out against Portland, also securing the fastest 50 off 19 balls - scored in the second half of his century.

Beals enjoyed a stand-out season for the first team and was named players' player of the year.

The all-rounder notched 340 runs with the bat at a 27.42 average, notching three half-centuries.

He also took 20 wickets with a best performance of 4-19.

Jarvis showed his class for the second team, his teammates voting him players' player of the year.

The left-hander scored 183 runs at 36.6 and claimed eight wickets, including a best of 3-18.
