DORCHESTER Town midfielder Harry Burns has decided to take a break from football, the Magpies have confirmed.
Burns, who played nine times this season, joined Dorchester for good at the beginning of the 2021/22 season.
Dorchester utilised Burns during several loans in the previous campaign before Weymouth released the student earlier in summer.
Burns’ decision allows him to concentrate on his final-year studies at university.
“I’d just like to say thank you to the coaching staff and the club for their support this season and with my decision,” he said in a statement.
“I wish the club and squad the success they deserve this season and in the future.
“The club has been great with helping me develop and giving me opportunities, and I can’t thank everyone enough for that.”
