DORCHESTER Town are bidding to seal three consecutive league wins for the first time since 2019.

Glenn Howes' Magpies come up against fourth-placed Met Police in Surrey tomorrow (3pm).

The Blues have lost just once all season but face a Dorchester side boosted by seven points out of a possible nine in their past three games.

On facing Met Police, Dorchester first-team coach Brian Churchill said: “It sets us up nicely for a tough game.

“Every game’s tough in this league but the league table tells you they’ve lost once this season.

“We’ll go there full of spirit and see what we can do.

“When we have played teams at the top, we’ve set up slightly differently. We’ve set up to defend and disrupt rather than create stuff.

“You might see a different Dorchester, on the front foot trying to get that away goal and see what happens.

“It’s just about keeping that momentum going.”

Tom Soares (bruised ribs) and Charlie Madden (hamstring) are expected to recover in time, while Gunson could make his debut.

Stedman, 22, played seven minutes of the win against Wimborne and then featured for the Magpies’ U23s as they thumped Ringwood Town 13-1 last night.

Ruben Smith scored four times and George Calverley also bagged a hat-trick, adding to Charlie Moors’ brace and goals for Christos Papakonstantinou, Jack Steele, Ben Symes and Ollie Crisp.
