HEADING towards the mid-season point in the Tribute Southern Counties South, Dorchester tomorrow head to the league leaders (2pm).

Devizes sit unbeaten on 34 points with their visitors sitting fifth on 20 points.

The coaching team and the playing squad are in no doubt this will be a tough game on the road and look to keep selection consistent especially with the forwards.

Josh Ovey is hopeful to keep an unchanged pack to keep the momentum they have provided so far this campaign, with few changes to the starting line-up and bench to cover for injury issues.

Andy Dowell looks to return in the centre, with Freddie Charles and James McKendry in the important half-back roles whilst Brook Legg following on from his hat-trick debut will start at full-back.

Elsewhere, after Matt Fry’s injury, Rob Parker steps into the breach to lead Dorchester’s A XV out at Surcouf Park against Oakmeadians Seconds.

Dorchester lie third in the Tribute Dorset & Wilts Two South table with their opponents in sixth place.

A win for Dorchester could move them into second. Coming back into the team are Rob Grassby to cover in the centre and Cameron Wills starting at number eight. Kick-off is 2.30pm.

On Sunday, Dorchester Colts welcome Oakmeadians whilst the under-15s and under-16s entertain Sherborne and Oakmeadians respectively in the Dorset & Wilts Cup.
