WEYMOUTH manager Brian Stock heaped praise on new recruit Haji Mnoga after his debut in the 1-0 loss to Southend United on Saturday.
Mnoga was one of the few Weymouth players to shine on a gloomy afternoon for the Terras, which saw them slip four points behind the Shrimpers due to the defeat.
Speaking to Echosport after suffering a seventh straight league defeat, Stock said: “I thought Haji was excellent, he’s a player that is always fully committed wherever he plays.
“He’s played at right-back and at centre-half in a three in the second half.
“Equally, I felt he really took the game to (Southend) in terms of what he’s all about. He’s all blood and guts.
“I’m excited about his future and obviously short-term with us. Hopefully we’ll give him the platform to kick on.

“Most importantly, that helps us to do what we need to do and contribute to turn around these results.”
