JOSH Phillips continued his terrific season with a second hat-trick in 10 days as Dorchester Town Under-23s beat Stockbridge Under-23s 7-1.

Right-back Phillips has now scored seven goals in a matter of 10 days following his treble for Street in the 7-0 thrashing of Bridport and a late equaliser in Dorchester Under-23’s 3-3 draw with QK Southampton.

Dorchester dominated Stockbridge, with the Magpies taking a 5-0 half-time lead.

Phillips netted the opener, tucking home a left-wing cross, before Kriss Radivojsa’s well-placed header converted Ben Symes’ delivery.

Stockbridge diverted a corner into their own net before Symes turned provider again, this time supplying Phillips for his brace.

Marcus Smith and Josh Baxter made it 6-0 with goals either side of half-time but Stockbridge then bagged a consolation.

Fittingly, Phillips had the final say as he buried his hat-trick goal after fine work from Ruben Smith.
