PORTLAND United will open their Wessex League Premier Division season at home to Bournemouth Poppies on Tuesday, August 2 (7.45pm).
Fixtures for the 2022/23 season give the Blues a trip to Hamble Club on the second match week, before hosting Fareham Town on August 30 in the Wessex League Cup.
A long trip to re-allocated Sussex side Pagham awaits on Saturday, September 10, before six games in October – including back-to-back home matches against promoted clubs Bemerton and Laverstock & Ford.
Portland round off the calendar year at home to Hamble on Saturday, December 17 and resume in 2023 away to Poppies on Tuesday, January 3.

January also carries six matches for Franklyn Clarke and Sam Poole’s men, followed by an arduous February comprised of four away fixtures.
The scheduling is kinder to the Blues in March, with four home games, and the season is wrapped up in April with a trip to Horndean on Saturday, April 22.
