DORCHESTER Rugby Club have welcomed Jewson as their newest commercial partner.

Jewson Dorchester have provided the club with a new spectator rail, adding to the upgrades at their Surcouf Park home.

The previous rail had temporary repairs over a number of years and finally needed renewing when Jewson generously stepped into the breach to fund the new rail.

Club chairman Tony Foot received a cheque and unveiled the new advertising hoarding with Jewson Dorchester branch manager Giles Kilshawe, and regional business unit director Steve Moss.

Foot commented that the new rail would make things far safer for spectators and players alike and put the club's facilities in line for more county and representative games.

The local Jewson team, led by Moss and Kilshawe, are looking to further help the club whenever possible.

They felt the club is a great community facility able to be used by many various groups with its function room facilities, generous parking, and green space around it.

The senior teams at Dorchester have now resumed training in readiness for the new season starting in September.
