WEYMOUTH boss David Oldfield harboured mixed feelings after drawing 1-1 at Hungerford Town in the Vanarama National League South.
Tom Bearwish volleyed Weymouth into a third-minute lead but Jeremiah Gyebi nodded an equaliser in the second half.
George Smith saw red for two bookable offences but Weymouth could not find a winner against Hungerford’s ten men.
The result gave Weymouth their first point of the season after five straight losses, although Oldfield felt all three points were within the Terras’ grasp.

He told Echosport: “Another decent performance, a good point away from home.
“A slight disappointment with not managing to do quite enough to get all three. We had a good collective effort and we have disappointment in terms of the goal we conceded.
“We created many chances again and the players showed their character, resilience and resolve.
“Overall, a little disappointed we couldn’t get the three but an important result nonetheless.”
Oldfield also believe the outcome gives Weymouth a platform going forward.
He said: “I’ve reflected in interviews how we’re not doing quite enough.
“There’s a criticism levelled at us that we’re not taking those opportunities clinically enough and making a difference to the game.
“(Yesterday) we did and we did have other opportunities. A little more conviction in that final third will bring us more joy.
“Overall, to get something out of the game to reflect the effort the players put in was very important and gives us a platform to go forward.”
