DORCHESTER Town have swooped for Gosport Borough centre forward Harvey Bradbury.

Bradbury, who has scored three goals for Boro in the Pitching In Southern League Premier South, moves to the Avenue one week after the sides drew 2-2.

He is the fifth striker to sign for the Magpies this season alongside Alfie Stanley, Shaq Gwengwe, Olaf Koszela and Olly Balmer. Matty Neale can also play up top but has predominantly been used in an attacking midfield role.

Bradbury counts Watford, Oxford United, Woking, Millwall, Oxford City and Welling United among his former clubs.

On his newest signing, boss Glenn Howes said: “We’re really pleased to have Harvey on board.

"He’s a player we’ve known around in the non-League circuit and he’s got a really good pedigree.

“Harvey will add a significant difference to our firepower that we have.

“He’s a different profile and type of player to what we have, so it’s one we’ve been searching the market for and we’ve been patient.

"It came across at the fans' forum a few weeks ago about strengthening the squad and we were quite light on numbers when we played Plymouth away, so Harvey significantly strengthens our squad that’s for sure.

“We’re really looking forward to working with Harvey, he’s looking to get settled and getting back to enjoying his football.”

Bradbury could make his Magpies debut this afternoon against Salisbury (3pm).
