HOTSPIRE turned up the heat with a 16-0 battering of Chickerell United Reserves in Dorset League Division Five.

Jordan Fisher, Callum Ferguson and Andrew Tinkler all scored four goals, with Kieran Barry and Connor Owens grabbing braces against the Chickens.

There was also a double-figure score for Woodville Wanderers, who won 10-0 at AFC Damerham.

John Bailey and Lascelles Richardson bagged hat-tricks, with Kevin Butler, Barnaby Earl, Alexander Rankin and Josh Lewis completing the rout.

Sturminster Newton Thirds hosted Verwood Athletic and won 3-1 with a Stuart Frear brace and Alex Sharpe’s strike.

Silvercross and Stalbridge Reserves drew 2-2 with Jake Daniels and Ben Tiller on target for Silvercross and Ryan Anker and Aaron Thorne for Stalbridge.

Wessex Phoenix and Wool Reserves 2-2 in Division Four, Lewis Ricardo and Charlie Harrison scoring for Phoenix.

Milborne Sports hosted Portland Panthers Reserves and won 4-1 with Steve Dormer scoring all four.

Sam Johnson scored a hat-trick for DI United in their 7-0 home win against Puddletown Reserves. Dan Boxall, Steve Wheatland, Luke Arnold and Darrell Ford were also on target.

Donhead beat Portland Town Reserves 3-1 away, Jake Gilbert grabbing the islanders’ only goal.
