DORCHESTER Town's clash at North Leigh has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The Magpies were scheduled to kick off at the earlier time of 1.30pm due to England's World Cup clash with France this evening (7pm).

However, with temperatures of -2 at North Leigh's home ground this morning, all hopes rested on a pitch inspection.

And the Millers' surface has been deemed unplayable with more than four hours until the kick-off.

No date for fulfilment of the fixture has yet been arranged.

Should there be no Saturday slot available, Dorchester will face a lengthy midweek away trip with North Leigh being around a two-and-a-half-hour drive.

Dorchester are next in action at home to Truro City on Saturday (3pm).
