DORCHESTER Town boss Glenn Howes insisted the Magpies must move on quickly from their 3-0 loss at Poole Town.
Tony Lee’s brace and a Toby Holmes strike inflicted Dorchester’s biggest loss since the 3-0 defeat by Weston in October.
Many onlookers felt the performance was among the worst of the Magpies’ otherwise impressive campaign to date, with no shots on target achieved.
And Howes rapidly drew a line under the contest, telling Echosport: “The reality check is that it’s three points (only).

“There are bragging rights in terms of it being a derby and in the festive period of course we want to get a better result for our supporters and a better performance.
“It’s not to be so we’re not going to dwell on it, we need to move on very quickly.
“The bigger picture is we want to give our supporters more good days than bad. Unfortunately we didn’t do ourselves justice, in my opinion.”
Dorchester host Yate Town on Monday, January 2 (3pm).
