DORCHESTER Town have successfully appealed against the red card shown to Kieran Douglas at Poole Town.
Douglas was given a straight red, conceding a penalty after being adjudged to have brought down Poole striker Tony Lee in the box.
Lee went on to score the penalty and the Dolphins ran out comfortable 3-0 victors.
However, The FA have now reversed the decision to send Douglas off, meaning the centre-back can feature against Yate Town on Monday, January 2.
In a club statement, Dorchester said: "We are pleased to confirm that our appeal for wrongful dismissal against Kieran Douglas’ red card on Boxing Day has been successful.

"The central defender was sent off during the first half of our Boxing Day defeat at Poole Town.
"However, following a review of the evidence provided, the FA have today confirmed that our appeal has been successful and the red card has been rescinded.
"Kieran will now be available for our next fixture against Yate Town on Monday afternoon at The Avenue."
Dorchester, in ninth, go into the game ten points and nine positions above Yate.
