TOMORROW sees Dorchester close their Counties One Tribute Southern South league campaign on the road in Somerset against Yeovil.

Following last weekend’s disappointing 21-17 loss at home to Avonvale, the county town outfit will be keen to finish the league season on a high before the cup competition gets under way.

Head coach Josh Ovey makes some changes from last week’s starting line-up.

Jack Hayward returns from his travels to start at scrum-half, as Jack Adams has been selected to start for Dorset & Wilts Under-20s.

Charlie Sharpe, Luke Robson and Tom Gower return to the forward pack, whilst Alex Peel returns to fly-half duty.

Cohen Emery and Brook Legg both take their preferred positions on the wing before joining up with the Dorset & Wilts Under-20s squad to add speed to the county side.

Ovey has the experience on the bench of Dave Cottell alongside Matt Fry and Alex Sharp.

Dorchester currently sit fifth in the league table, two points less than their opposition who sit third.

Previously these matches have been fiercely contested between the two sides, last time around Yeovil won a niggly match 21-7 at Surcouf Park.

A win will move the visitors above their hosts in the final table, keeping them in the top four at season end.

Club chairman Tony Foot has praised Ovey’s young-looking side this season, noting their spirit, endeavour and unity as a squad.
