WEYMOUTH star Brad Ash described as “unbelievable” the feeling of achieving Vanarama National League South safety on the final day of the 2022/23 season.

Ash put Weymouth 1-0 up at Dover before strike partner Ahkeem Rose netted nine minutes later to dramatically keep the Terras up on goal difference.

Weymouth’s efforts have been widely recognised as miraculous having been seven points from safety with only three games remaining.

And Ash, who claimed Weymouth’s golden boot with 24 goals in all competitions, admitted the feeling had not sunk in.

He told uptheterras.co.uk: “It’s unbelievable. The fans deserve it and we deserve it as players.
