FORMER Weymouth manager Brian Stock has departed Eastleigh, along with manager Lee Bradbury.

Earlier today the Spitfires sacked Bradbury and Stock following a poor start to the Vanarama National League season.

Bradbury's men have taken just three points from a possible 15 this campaign, losing 2-0 to Southend last night.

Eastleigh have not won in the league since mid-March, a run of 12 matches stretching back to the 3-2 win over Altrincham.

At Weymouth, Stock won 17 of his 69 games in charge and helped the Terras stay up in the 2020/21 National League season.

In a statement, Eastleigh said: "Eastleigh Football Club can today confirm that we have terminated the contract of first team manager Lee Bradbury and assistant manager Brian Stock with immediate effect.

"In the interim period, Richard Hill will oversee the first-team squad along with Jason Bristow.

"A full recruitment process will be undertaken following today’s decision to appoint a new management team.

"We would like to thank Lee and Brian for their commitment to the club during their year and a half tenure at Eastleigh FC and we wish them both all the best for the future."

He guided Weymouth to a high of ninth in the table the following season but a severe dip in form ultimately led to his departure in January 2022.

Stock took time out of the game before joining Eastleigh in March 2022.

Bradbury and Stock's reign lasted just 17 months, during which time the duo recorded 24 wins in 67 fixtures, earning a win percentage of 35.82%
