BALTI Sports will aim to make further strides up the Dorset Premier League table when they host Bournemouth Sports tomorrow (3pm).

Marco Nott’s rejuvenated side have four wins in their last five games since losing 5-0 at Wimborne Town Reserves on the opening day.

They currently sit in fourth, two points off leaders Hamworthy United Reserves, and could go top if they beat Bournemouth and other results fall their way.

However, Nott is expecting one of the trickiest tests this campaign against a side that last season won 8-0 at Cranford Avenue.

He told Echosport: “They gave us a good hiding last year. We’ve managed to pass quite a few tests this season but Bournemouth Sports will be a difficult game.

“I’m looking forward to seeing how we fare against them, they’re a good solid side. It will be interesting to gauge how far we’ve come.

“We know we’ve got to be on it to get anything from the game.”

Derek Wall (knee) misses out while Oscar Preece, Carl McClements, Adam Batchelor and Jake Hawker are unavailable.

Phil Anderson, skipper Aston Butcher and Finley Jarvis return.
