BALTI Sports’ boss Marco Nott has called on his side to start taking the initiative in games heading into a tough home clash with Hamworthy United Reserves tomorrow (3pm).
Balti have not led since beating Sturminster Marshall, 180 minutes of football ago, trailing 1-0 and 2-1 to Bournemouth Sports in a 2-2 draw before losing 3-0 to Shaftesbury Reserves.
Although his side are fifth in the Dorset Premier League table, he now wants his squad to make better starts to games.
“The warning signs were there on Saturday,” he told Echosport.

“We need to start getting ahead in games rather than trying to keep clawing our way back.
“We’ve got to make sure we get that first goal because we’ve been conceding first in a lot of games.
“We’re unbeaten at home so far, so we’ll take that into Saturday. There’s plenty of good signs there, if we take our chances we’ve got every chance.”
Derek Wall (knee) is doubtful, while Louis Gear, Oscar Preece and Ollie James are unavailable. Danny Andrews and Ethan Devaney may return.
