NEW Dorchester Town boss Tom Killick disagreed with the straight red card shown to Will Spetch in the Magpies’ 3-1 loss to Merthyr Town.
Killick’s side were 2-1 down and chasing the FA Trophy third qualifying round tie when Spetch was deemed to be last man after committing a foul.
However, Killick disagreed with the decision and suggested the vocal crowd at Penydarren Park influenced the call.
He told Echosport: “I’ll stand to be corrected but we thought he wasn’t the last defender.

“But you get referees at this level, there’s 300 people there and suddenly they start making decisions they otherwise wouldn’t.
“It’s understandable when there’s 50,000 people there but when there’s 300 it’s a bit of a concern. Again, that’s the nature of the beast.”
