DORCHESTER Town return to Pitching In Southern League Premier South action at Hendon tomorrow (3pm).

By the time kick-off comes, the Magpies will have not played for ten days and Dorchester will also be without new boss Tom Killick.

Missing through unavailability, Killick booked time off after his exit from Poole in September and has chosen to honour those commitments.

It means Dorchester will revert to the management setup used before Killick’s arrival, with Glenn Howes leading proceedings alongside James Wood and Brian Churchill.

An improved Hendon side themselves pose a big test, having lost only twice in 12 league games this season.

Asked if the long break between games would hinder Dorchester, Killick told Echosport: “I don’t think that’s a big problem for us because we’ve trained hard.

“We’ll be physically ready. I think the challenge is that Hendon away is a difficult proposition. I feel the league table tells you they’re a better outfit than they were last year.

“I came up against them earlier on in the season with Poole and I saw first-hand that they are improved. They’ve got a strong and athletic, powerful team.”

Elsewhere, Dorchester are boosted by the probable return of striker Olaf Koszela, who has recovered from the after-effects of concussion.

Experienced centre-half Will Spetch is suspended, while new loan signings Ed James and Pedro Borges could debut after joining from Exeter City. Jack Dickson returns after illness.

Goalkeeper Lloyd Thomas will not feature after confirming his exit yesterday.
