WEYMOUTH captain Tom Bearwish and experienced defender Calvin Brooks have both apologised to Terras fans following the 5-1 drubbing by Bath City.
Bearwish was part of a home midfield completely overrun by the Romans and Brooks saw red for two bookable offences.
Speaking to the media post-match, Bearwish said: “We’re disappointed. We set out with a game plan but it comes down to individual battles and they won every single one.
“The gaffer’s called us out and said it looked like men versus boys at times.”

Brooks added: “It’s really frustrating, we apologise to the fans for having to watch that, it’s a difficult watch.
“It’s hurting a lot of people and a tough one to take, especially after some of our last performances. It’s nowhere near good enough.”
Bearwish added: “We’ll move on from that defeat. We’ve got training (tonight) so we’ll get in, get the lads together and that’s all we can do, just forget it and carry on with our game plan.”
