DORCHESTER Town boss Tom Killick has shed light on the absence of young defender Jordi Foot.

Foot has not played for the Magpies since Saturday, October 28 when he came on as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Hayes & Yeading.

Foot has made five appearances under new boss Killick, starting the ex-Poole manager’s first two matches before being a used substitute in the next three.

However, Foot was not part of the Magpies’ squad in the 4-1 win against Basingstoke and the 2-1 loss to Bracknell and is understood to be the subject of interest from an unnamed Dorset club.

Killick told Echosport: “Jordi’s not in a position to make himself available at the moment.

“That’s disappointing from our point of view but, as and when he’s in a position to return, he’s welcome back.”

Dorchester visit one of Killick’s old clubs, leaders Salisbury, on Saturday (3pm).
