DORCHESTER Town have unwrapped an early Christmas present with the signing of striker Jonny Efedje.
Efedje joins from Pitching In Southern League Premier South counterparts Gosport Borough, who are challenging for the title.
Efedje will switch his attentions to fighting towards the bottom of the table, with Dorchester perched one place above the drop zone in 18th.
The forward has previous Step 3 experience with Hartley Wintney and also counts Westfield on his CV.

He adds competition for places up front with strikers Will Fletcher, Shaq Gwengwe, Olaf Koszela and Leighton Thomas.
Speaking to Dorchester’s media team, boss Tom Killick said: “We are very pleased to have been able to bring Jonny in.
“He has great power and pace and is exactly the profile that we are looking for in being a young exciting player who still has the potential for improvement.
"I am sure he will prove to be an excellent acquisition and I am grateful to Gosport for their cooperation in allowing it to happen."
Taking to X after the move was confirmed, Efedje said: "Glad to be on board and looking forward to get started!"
Efedje is available to make his Dorchester debut at Chesham United tomorrow (3pm).
