PORTLAND United’s Velocity Wessex League Premier Division contest at US Portsmouth has fallen victim to a waterlogged pitch at the Victory Stadium.

The Blues were scheduled to face the league’s 18th-placed side in their 25th league match of the season.

Kyle Critchell’s men are sixth before this weekend’s fixtures, with Laverstock & Ford having beaten Sherborne Town 3-0 away to move into fifth, the final play-off spot.

Additionally, the Blues could face a lengthy Tuesday night trip to Portsmouth.

Portland welcome title contenders AFC Stoneham to the Camp & Satherley Stadium on Saturday, February 17.
