DORCHESTER Town still have “masses to do” as they enter another vitally important game at relegation rivals Tiverton Town tonight (7.45pm).

The Magpies travel to Ladysmead with their hosts in 20th position, a placing Dorchester on Saturday jumped out of to 17th after a stunning 3-1 victory over Bracknell.

Just three points separate the clubs, meaning Dorchester could put clear daylight between them with a victory.

Speaking to Echosport, boss Tom Killick said: “In a strange way, it’s weird because we felt like we didn’t get an awful lot in terms of league enhancement with that five-game run we had.

“But we probably got the benefit of it (Saturday) in terms of winning. That run gave us a platform to push us up a little bit.

“We’ve still got masses to do but this is a real push in the right direction.

“From our point of view there’s a real incentive there to try and put a bit of daylight there between us and Tiverton, potentially move up a place or two ourselves.

“There’s a lot riding on the game for sure, both sides.”
