Tiverton 1
Parker, 18
Dorchester 1
Koszela, 30
Olaf Koszela made it two goals in two games for Dorchester Town as The Magpies picked up a point away to Tiverton in the Southern Premier.
After going a goal behind in the opening 20 minutes, Koszela's 30th minute penalty meant the Magpies took a point back to the Avenue.
Last season's top scorer Shaquille Gwengwe remained out and new signing Gerard Benfield was absent due to dislocating his finger in the draw with Havant & Waterlooville.
This meant that there was just one change from the weekend with Noah Crisp making his league debut and deputising for Benfield in goal.
It was a lively start to the game as both teams created some chances early on.
Tiverton's Joe Parker latched on to a looped ball from Niall Thompson with the striker almost lobbing Crisp, but this effort went over.
Wayne Robinson then had a chance after chasing down a loose ball, but fired his effort straight at the keeper.
Koszela nearly opened the scoring after Wes Fogden found the striker in the box but his effort was ruled out for offside.
With 18 minutes on the clock, Tiverton would capitalise on a loose back pass, allowing Parker to drive past the Magpies defence and finish with a low driven shot.
Just before the half hour mark, the Magpies were awarded a penalty after Fogden was brought down in the area.
Koszela stepped up and tucked the ball away for his second of the campaign.
Crisp was then called into action to deny Javan Wright after receiving a ball from Jay Murray off the wing which was well saved by the Magpies keeper.
With the half coming to an end Robinson came close with a drilled effort which was spilt by Matt Wannacott in the Tivvy goal.
Fogden was quickest to react but was unable to direct the rebound on target.
After the break Koszela had a chance to put the visitors in front, however, the striker could not beat Wannacroft with his strike.
Koszela was involved again after a quick break saw his curling effort go agonisingly over the bar.
There were not many more chances of not for the remainder of the game, however, the Magpies created a flurry of chances in the final five minutes.
Luke Roberts first had a chance saved before Fogden saw an effort blocked by the Tivvy keeper.
Then in added time Koszela almost got the winning goal after dancing past two Tiverton defenders but again Wannacroft stood strong between the sticks.
