It meant Jack Hector (48) and Jack Satterley (41) did not go on to bigger scores, Puddletown dismissing their hosts for 198.
Puddle expertly negotiated the early loss of Snow (1), bowled by Sam Martin (2-31), as a huge second-wicket stand broke the back of the chase.
Teenager Regan Norman (61) struck a composed first senior half-century, sharing 152 with Adam Barrett (66).
Norman’s knock included seven fours and a six before he offered a return catch to Martin.
Even though Barrett was bowled by Cam Basey (1-43), Steve Chaldecott (13no) and Dave Stevens (14no) made sure of victory with a 29-run partnership.
Speaking to Echosport, Ryan Norman said: “The application from the guys has been really good. Last week we lost a narrow one to Swanage.
“Everybody dug in really well but to start with nine we didn’t let our heads drop, we stuck together as a unit and pulled off a really good result.”
Puddletown Seconds lost by 48 runs to Stalbridge Development in Division Five.
