FOLLOWING two big home wins, Dorchester take their unbeaten Dorset & Wilts One South campaign on the road, heading to Lytchett Minster tomorrow.

Coach Ben Parker expects a tough physical game and has warned his squad against complacency.

The pack remains unchanged after a strong display against Dorset Dockers while the back line sees a shuffle.

George Foot moves to the wing, Luc Scadden makes his first-team starting debut in the centre and Matt Fry also steps into the centre.

Adding to the headache of captain Adam Makepeace out after his red card, Dorchester have now also lost the experienced prop Tom Evans to a shoulder injury for two months.

With the club now fielding three senior sides in the league, competition training has become a target for Parker to get as many as possible of the fringe players to step up to the challenge.

Meanwhile, Weymouth & Portland will be looking to end a losing streak of three when they travel to Dorset Dockers tomorrow in the same division.

The Seasiders sit one place below the Dockers in 10th place with both sides on seven points.

Dorchester’s A XV travel to Dinton on the back of a good win and the third XV Gladiators travel to North Dorset tonight for a floodlit match.

Tomorrow at Coburg Road, Dorchester host their annual family fireworks extravaganza with the gates opening at 6pm with the fireworks at 8pm.

There is fun for all the family and the events includes a sparkler area for children, bouncy castle, music from Regulation 9 along with a hog roast and outside bar.

Family tickets are £12 (two adults and two children) £5 adults and £3 child (under-16).

The youth section of the club are all away this weekend including the under-16s who head to Weymouth in the Dorset & Wilts Cup.
