DORSET’S Friendship Club has teamed up with the National Citizen Service (NCS) and student volunteers to bring a rare organ to Weymouth as a tourist attraction. A member of the Friendship Club has a dream to bring a Gavioli Organ to the resort next summer.
To support his bid, NCS members worked with the Friendship Club, Weymouth College, Scouts and Regard Town Farm Workshops in Sixpenny Handley to build vegetable patches, move masses of mud and fix gardening equipment to raise £500.
Some of the funds raised will also go to support adults with additional needs.
