ANDY WEBSTER

Published on 31/01/2015

ANDY WEBSTER It is with thanks to all who attended Andy's funeral that he had the kind of send off he would have enjoyed and appreciated so much - just the right amount of light-hearted sentiment he wanted. For all the beautiful cards, lovely letters, messages of condolence and donations received in his memory. A total amount of £465 was raised and this has been divided equally between our four chosen charities. Our most grateful thanks go to all who attended and nursed Andy in his last days with us - Doctors Paul Mason and Peter Hill of Royal Manor Health Care, Sarah Riglar and the District Nurses and Debby Jolliffe and the Marie Curie Nurses for making Andy's last days so dignified and comfortable. We would also like to thank the nursing staff of Fortuneswell Ward at DCH for looking after him during his brief stay two weeks before his passing. Many thanks also must go to Rev. Tim Gomm for the wonderful Church Service and to Michelle Russ for writing, and reading, such a lovely eulogy - everyone commented on it in glowing terms. Thank you also Colin Cade and Dave Gray for your comforting and humorous words - you brought smiles to our faces which is all Andy asked for - SMILES. Last, but by no means least, our most grateful and heartfelt thanks must go to Sam Wilding, not only for his friendship but for his devout sensitive and caring attention to detail to ensure that Andy's final journey would be just as he would have wanted it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you each and every one of you, Sylvia Webster xx
