The level of competition in our event has really stepped up a notch with the Games on the horizon.
We were a bit disappointed to lose our quarter-final at the Skandia Sail for Gold regatta – but it was actually a really valuable experience.
We want a medal at the Games – so that means we have to properly manage our time and other commitments.
Our team has a great set-up here in Weymouth and we can now really focus our attention on training and building towards the Games.

2011 has been another really enjoyably year for The Match Race Girls and three of us are delighted to have finished it another successful one having just touched down in Heathrow with Silver medals won at the ISAF World Championships in Perth, Australia.
