- A RACE night will be held at St Joseph’s Church Hall on Stavordale Road.
It takes place on Saturday October 25 at 7.30pm. Entrance costs £5 and people are invited to bring their own alcohol.
Proceeds will be donated to the One World group.
- A CONCERT will be held at Weymouth Bay Methodist Church in Melcombe Avenue on Saturday, October 25.
The Veronique Joly Quintet will be performing from 7.30pm and will be supported by Rob Palmer on guitar, Geoff Miller on trumpet, Rodney Teague on bass and Lee Miller on drums.
- WEYMOUTH Salvation Army has room for more members at the Jelly Tots Club.
It takes place every Tuesday morning from 10am to 11.30am at The Citadel in Westham Road.
The club is suitable for children up to school age and includes games, singing and crafts.

- ST Michael’s Church in Stinsford will host an evening of words and music.
It takes place on Thursday, October 30 at 7pm. Refreshments will be served after the concert and readings will be given by Furse Swann and Susan Clarke.
Proceeds will be donated to church funds.
