ST PETER’S Langton Herring is having a ‘Songs of Praise’ on Sunday, 3rd July at 6.30 pm, to celebrate our Patronal Festival, it will be followed by coffee & cake in the Village Hall.
We would like you to tell us (beforehand!) what your favourite hymn is & maybe why you like it & we will try to incorporate them into the service – do come and join us.
DO NOT forget that MONDAY, 27th June there is the AGM of the Village Hall at 7.30pm, please come and support the committee that run the Hall on your behalf.
TUESDAY, 28th June is the Village Lunch – I’m sure you are all looking forward to it – always good food and a chance to catch up with the neighbours!
SATURDAY, 2nd July the Chesil Bank Garden Club is hosting the Village Cafe in Portesham Village Hall, from 10am till 12 – coffee & eats, plants, raffle etc. – do come & support us.
TUESDAY, JULY 5th will be the Garden Club coach outing to Wisley Gardens, a few seat are still available – contact Clive on 01305 871941 for details – it is such a lovely garden & well worth a visit.
