ST ANDREWS Church Christmas Fair takes place in Milborne Village Hall on Saturday, 20th November.

It will be opened at noon by Father Christmas himself and will be in full swing until 3pm.

Come and meet Father Christmas and his fairies (his elves are on holiday this year!) Enjoy a lunchtime snack of home made soup and a roll together with a glass of mulled wine, or perhaps you would prefer tea or coffee and a fairy cake?

Suitably refreshed, you can enjoy some Christmas shopping at the many stalls.

These will include gifts, cakes, pies and preserves, toys, books, decorations and bric–a-brac. Children (and adults) will enjoy the sweet tombola and the games and of course they will want to visit Santa in his grotto and receive a present.

Admission to the fair is free and to visit Santa is only £1.

THE Mill Singers will be singing in St Andrews Church, Milborne, on Saturday, 11th December.

This well known male voice choir, established in 1994, sings ten concerts each year under their musical director James Smith.

All the concerts are in support of charities and other deserving causes.

Their programmes range from ancient to modern, from Bach to folk songs and spirituals.

The concert in Milborne is to raise funds for the refurbishment of St Andrew’s Church.

The music will be varied and contain a festive element.

Drinks and nibbles will be served during the interval.

The concert starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets (adults £7, children £3) can be obtained in advance from Eva Stockley (01258 837468) or Pat Tribe (01258 837684) or bought at the door.
