DESPITE the untimely death over six years ago of the King of Pop Michael Jackson, his memory continues to live on through this incredible show (the only Michael Jackson tribute endorsed by the Jackson family) and its star Ben; an extraordinary tribute performer whose love for MJ is clearly illustrated through his passionate and polished act. Everything he does on stage is a tribute to Michael; he doesn't make any part of the show about him; a rare trait in a performer.

Hits performed included Startin’ Something, Blame it on the Boogie, Beat It, The Way You Make Me Feel and of course some Jackson 5 hits like ABC and I'll Be There as well as the thought-provoking; Earth Song, Black or White, They Don't Really Care About Us and Heal The World.

No Michael tribute would be complete without Billie Jean and the famous moonwalk or horror hit Thriller for which I'm sure many members of the audience breathed a sigh of relief at not being in aisle seats as the dancers dressed as monsters crept up on them.

The choreography was exactly what Michael loved; polished, fun and energetic, helping to tell the stories and spread the messages of change within his music (lessons some fans should remember next time they push passed a disabled woman in their eagerness to exit the venue).

Not only are the audiences filling the venues proof of the ongoing love and support for the star, but the versatility of his ever-growing fan base is enough to keep his music alive for decades to come. There were many children in the audience tonight who could not possibly remember the star whilst he was living and in that, they remain untarnished by the media circus and controversy that surrounded the late star, and love him for what he should be remembered and admired for - his musical genius.

Nothing can bring Michael Jackson back, but if you regret never having seen the star perform live then this show will make up for that. Ben truly is the best Michael Jackson tribute out there.
