CONSIDERABLE interest has already been shown in a new community orchestra.
The sessions will start in Dorchester on Sunday, February 3 at 3pm at Dorchester Arts, the Grove, Dorchester.
Catherine Oakley will conduct the orchestra and will welcome players of all ages and standards. The organisers are hoping for as wide a variety of orchestral instruments as possible.
This could be the time to get the trombone out of the trunk or the clarinet out of the closet! “Don’t worry if you’ve given away your instrument – we can probably find one for you to hire. “Easy music will start the session and there will be a break for refreshments.”
