BOTH adults and children are invited to discover the hidden world of the puppet laboratory.

The Lyric Theatre in Barrack Street, Bridport, is running courses to teach the art of puppet-making.

It will be held in the old ballet studio where there is now an arts space full of puppets created for Stuff and Nonsense, the Lyric’s resident theatre company.

Artist and professional puppet-maker Holly Miller, pictured above, will be pulling all the strings.

The course for adults and those aged 12 and over is on Tuesdays starting on April 22 from 5pm to 6.30pm and the Puppet Club for anyone over the age of six years starts on Wednesday, April 24 from 4.30pm to 6pm. Both courses run for five consecutive weeks and the cost is £30 per person including all the materials you need to make a puppet and take it home at the end.
