POWER Games, an entertaining and interactive dance show that will have the audience laughing and talking to the person next to them, is coming to Bridport Arts Centre on Saturday, April 26 at 7.30pm.
It tells the story of Deepak, a selfish investment banker who likes the high life, including alcohol and gambling.
The twist is that the audience decides his fate in a fun TV game show style format.
Audience members will be given two cards when they enter the theatre and will have to make a series of decisions for Deepak.
Should he meet friends or stay at home? You decide! You could help him to lead a more wholesome life – or you could lead him into more trouble.
The show is brought to us by Ipswich-based Altered Skin, a newly formed company led by Shane Shambhu. They aim to represent modern society and are inspired by traditional South Asian dance form Bharatanatyam.
The mix of theatre, dance and visual storytelling is beautiful, but most of all it’s fun.
