DORSET-based theatre practitioner Carl Woodward and some creative school pupils have been invited to The New London Theatre in the West End to meet the original war horse Joey after leading a Theatre in Education project.
Pupils from the Oak Lodge School created a life sized Joey puppet that was brought to life by pupils and made an appearance at the recent Dorchester Festival Parade.
Carl said: “It was an immense privilege to facilitate this unique school production.
“I am incredibly proud of all the young people have achieved.
“This is a great example of a Theatre in Education project that engages, excites and educates.”
